Bonuses and offers

What is a no wagering casino?

A no wagering casino gives bonuses with no playthrough attached. Anything the bonus wins is withdrawable immediately.

It is the only bonus structure where the advertised number and the value are the same, which is why it is uncommon.

Where the catch moves to

Nothing is free, so the constraint moves somewhere else. Usually the offer is smaller: twenty wager-free spins instead of a hundred with 40x.

Sometimes there is a maximum on what the spins can pay. Sometimes the spins are locked to one title. Read for a cap rather than for a multiplier, because that is the term doing the work here.

Why it is worth more anyway

A hundred spins at 40x on winnings is worth less in expectation than twenty spins with nothing attached, in almost every configuration. The playthrough eats more than the extra spins deliver.

Run the sum yourself: 40x turnover at a four percent cost per pass takes roughly one and a half times the bonus value out on the way through. Wager-free skips all of that.

On our board

We count wager-free offers separately from everything else, because they behave differently in the arithmetic and lumping them together would flatter the rest of the market.

The list, with the number attached to each one, is on the welcome offers page. Where a room publishes zero playthrough, the value column and the headline column match, and you can see that at a glance.
