Mastercard: same three days, and prepaid cards are a trap

Prepaid deposits cannot be refunded

A card payout needs somewhere to refund to, and a prepaid or gift card is not somewhere. Fund with one, win, and the app pays you on whatever it picks instead, usually bank transfer at a C$100 floor and up to a week.

Most apps do not warn you at the deposit screen. Check before you fund, not after.

Try the other network

Canadian banks do not block both card networks the same way on the same account. A declined Visa deposit often works on Mastercard, and the reverse happens too.

Two declines means switch network, not switch app.

Fund with it. Cash out on Interac, which is two days quicker and forty dollars lower.
